Meet kitso: my self proclaimed pet.. a pet I am trying to ignore as much as I can because I live in a rented house and I don’t want any problem with my landlords.
But every morning I open my windows she appears.. a cute little thing begging for biscuits.
Thrice she has showed up with boyfriends too, first one was tiny bandit, who pounced on her biscuits.. next two were really cute looking as herself, but all disappeared after a night.
She is a darling thing but I have to pretend that she doesnot exists..

It's really cute.
ReplyDeleteBut didi, are you afraid that the landlord's ladies would get jelous of her beauty!!!
We also live in a rental house in Lahore, but luckily our landlords are so nice perhaps because they live in a street wich is at a little distance from ours. Thank God!!!
dearest brother,
ReplyDeletethe landlords of this house are pretty nice, but my experience with the first landlady was very bad, so i dont want to provoke the ownership tendency of landlords. :)
my first landlady lived above us, she had her separate exit, even then it caused her a lot of annoyance.
i guess in west bengal specially these people are forced to remind their tenants that they own the house, i really cant blame them, but a thing can be dealt with decency, which she failed to do. so, i avoid that scene altogether. i dont blame her over possessiveness for HER house, i rue her lack of manners and kindness to a dumb animal who was coming there for a little food (and was protecting her home too).
ownership tendency is the deepest passion of human beings and i try not to raise it in myself or others :)
with lots of affection,
didi
